    "obj_descr": "A single hemisphere without central gnomon point, once had two separate gnomon points corresponding to the north and south facing halves of the dial face. The gnomon points were placed in the meridian plane so that the summer solstice of the south-facing surface virtually coincided with the winter solstice of the north-facing surface. Grids have been engraved on both the north and south facing halves of the hemispherical shadow-receiving surface of this dial. Since gnomon holes near the top edge may be associated with each dial grid, the hole in the bottom center of the hemisphere presumably served to drain off accumulated water.",

For $\\epsilon = 24$, a graphic determination of the gnomon length gives $g = 92.4 mm$. Arc lengths along summer solstice from the sixth to the eleventh hour lines measure 40, 43.5, 43.5, 40, 49 mm.",
