Abstract

Ionic capital, found along the North side of the temple; about a quarter of the piece is preserved including parts of the echinus as well as the palmette between volute and echinus. Surface coatings, perhaps part of color rendering, were found on the Lesbian cyma of the abacus and on the mouldings of the echinus (scientific analysis pending).

Description

Following up on professional photography, 3D models were produced with two types of Laser Scanners, a Structured-Light Scanner and Structure-from-Motion (SfM). Deviations between the different 3D models are visualized in surface comparisons.
