Description: The small digitized archive presented here comprises drawings and photos made during the Uruk-Warka Survey Project conducted by Robert McC. Adams and Hans J. Nissen. The photos and many of the drawings were not included in the survey publication, The Uruk Countryside and are thus published here for the first time. Most of the material consists of pottery, but other ceramic artifacts, stone and metal objects as well as inscribed bricks were also documented. All materials were recorded in the field.

The goal of this website is to provide online access to this remaining archival documentation of the Uruk-Warka survey.
